Our Mission
The Maine Sting mission is to teach youth athletes in the pursuit of playing at the highest caliber of sports, while maintaining respect and sportsmanship towards players, opponents, coaches, and officials.
Our success is measured by how teams and individual players conduct themselves. We will win with class, lose with class, and always show support towards our teammates, and opponents, no matter the situation, and we will always respect the game we are playing.
We will practice and play with absolute intensity.
The Sting leadership will be relentless in our mission to improve the character of every player.
Maine Sting will strive to push academic focus for all of our players. We recognize that athletic ability may get them to high levels, however, it is education that is the greatest value that will push them to bigger success.
